A New Opportunity Awaits  

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Corporate Facilities to join our team.

In this role, you will lead a team of four in the maintenance and services of our facilities to ensure organizational and member needs are met.

You will be a good fit for this role if you have a minimum of 5 years of maintenance and facilities management experience plus a minimum of 2 years of supervisory/ management experience. Previous experience in property management environment is also required.

You will also possess:

  • Experience with HVAC and geothermal systems
  • Proven project management expertise in managing a major renovation and/or new build
  • Demonstrated experience monitoring budgets and negotiating favorable contractor and supplier rates and/or contracts
  • Proficiency in using a PC and computerized tracking system to ensure accurate collection of all maintenance work
  • Working knowledge of fire and building codes, coupled with knowledge of Safety & Health legislation and requirements
  • WHMIS certification (asset only)

You will be a good fit for this role if you have effective leadership skills and the ability to work independently. The ability to multitask and oversee concurrent projects is essential, as are superior problem-solving and communication skills.

Above all, you must have demonstrated experience in building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Due to the nature of this role, you must have the ability to lift up to 50lbs and have a valid driver's license for required travel between Steinbach and Winnipeg.
