Reporting to the General Manager (Operations), this pivotal role will see you responsible for overseeing and coordinating the internal L&D infrastructure for the organisation. This includes enhancing the learning and development framework for staff and contractors that deliver key services globally through better informed development and delivery processes.

JAS-ANZ is also currently in the early stages of developing external training offerings for their clients and other key stakeholders. You'll play a lead role in the establishment and management of this external service offering by identifying potential clients and offerings, and developing effective processes for content development and delivery to meet client needs.

About You

You'll be an expert in L&D, keen to provide advice and recommendations on the best way to conduct learning in specific situations.

Ideally you will have experience within the areas of accreditation and standards, however this industry experience is not essential as long as you have the ability to quickly learn complex organisational structures and workings.

This L&D role is unique in the sense that your focus will be managing Learning and Development services, rather than delivering training in specific subject matter yourself. This requires the successful candidate to be skilled in stakeholder management, and have the ability to draw upon expertise and elicit knowledge from specialists within the organisation in order to best deliver functional training for staff and clients.

As you'll be developing the new external service offering, it's crucial you be commercially focused with the ability to help develop content for the end user, manage external offerings and build / grow this specialist service. Emotional intelligence will also be important in this position, as you'll need to strike a balance between obtaining what you need from others to execute your role properly and maintaining professional and respectful boundaries.

In addition, JAS-ANZ is seeking a dedicated team player who brings a collaborative approach to working with staff across the organisation. Although strong communication skills and the ability to bring various stakeholders together to execute projects will be key, you'll also require a high degree of autonomy and initiative as you'll be the driving force behind the new direction of the Learning & Development function.

About the Benefits

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a passionate organisation where no two days are the same - you'll enjoy working with knowledgeable individuals, across a variety of sectors, ensuring you're engaged and challenged on a daily basis.

As you'll be developing the brand new external service offering, you'll also enjoy the autonomy and freedom to really make the role your own and play a key role in the growth of the business!

In return for your hard work and dedication, JAS-ANZ is offering a competitive remuneration package circa $100,000 - $120,000 plus super and laptop.
