Your New Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Engagement Manager to join our team in Richmond, BC on a full-time basis.

This is a newly created role, in which your primary focus will be to create and cultivate a network of product “ambassadors” or “Brand Champions” in targeted geographic regions.

Please note some travel within North America is required. 

Under your leadership, this network will be responsible for: 

  • Engaging with local customers and prospecting to provide product training and demonstrations
  • Providing product feedback and identifying opportunities to improve, enhance, or introduce new products
  • Assisting with software beta testing programs
  • Gathering customer testimonials for Transoft’s marketing team
  • Contributing content to assist with social media and marketing programs
  • Assisting in creating content for marketing and sales 

Individually, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating and sustaining a robust customer engagement mechanism
  • Liaising with peers within Transoft’s business units, marketing, sales and product development teams and acting as the key intermediary and voice of the community
  • Gathering and sharing feedback collected through our community
  • Helping business units and product development teams make informed decisions about future software improvements and innovations based on feedback collected
  • Contributing to the continual development of Transoft’s corporate marketing, product marketing, and sales programs
  • Helping to maintain our position as leaders in offering best-in-class customer service
  • Compiling customer feedback developing business cases for new development opportunities
  • Identifying leads for customer success stories to assist with marketing
  • Exploring opportunities to partner with educational institutes to promote advocacy of our software to shape product developments 

In order to qualify for this role, you will have a Bachelor's degree in Science, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Previous experience in a technical industry, or in a B2B or public sector environment is an asset, as is experience or education in civil or transportation engineering, or with engineering software. 

You will also have a proven track record in developing and nurturing a highly engaged community. Strong business acumen is essential, as is the ability to create value for our stakeholders, customers, and the functional interdependencies within our organization.  

Technical savvy will serve you well in this role. Similarly, the ability to develop the building blocks and execute on the details that will get us to meet our short and long-term strategic plans is essential.

As a highly motivated professional, you are able to work both independently and as part of a team. Enthusiastic and energetic, you have an entrepreneurial spirit and always drive for results. Above all, you must be extremely detail oriented and organized
