About You

While experienced candidates are preferred, Hawke's Bay Regional Council will accept applications from graduates provided you have Resource Management qualifications and a desire to grow your career in this space.
Individuals applying for the Senior position will require strong policy project management skills, including the ability to coordinate tasks and work programmes across a variety of teams and subject matters. About Hawke's Bay
Hawke’s Bay is a region of New Zealand located in the east of the North Island on the Pacific Ocean coast. With a mild Mediterranean climate, summer is quite often sunnier and hotter than the average for the rest of New Zealand.
If there were two words that summed up Hawke's Bay it would be 'Wine Country'. Hawke’s Bay is one of New Zealand’s warmest, driest regions and this has made it one of the country’s leading producers of wine. As well as being a popular stop on numerous NZ wine tours, Napier is also known as an art deco city, having rebuilt its inner city in the popular 1930s architectural style after the 1931 earthquake.
There is also an extensive network of high quality off-road recreational walkways and cycleways to suit all fitness levels, boutique artisan food stores, and a variety of museums and galleries.
With glorious beaches and a family-friendly community, the Hawke's Bay region is as welcoming as it is unique, with universal appeal for people from all walks and stages of life.
