About the Opportunity
The Belmore All-Suite Hotel has a unique opportunity for a couple to join the company as live-in Hotel Managers in Wollongong, NSW, on a full-time basis.
In this highly varied role, your primary responsibility will be to manage daily hotel operations, upholding the friendly, professional, service-driven culture of The Belmore.
Specifically, daily duties will include:
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate accounts, Destination Wollongong, and local tourism operators;
- Developing and implementing the budget, managing accounts, and performing yield management strategies to maximise financial performance;
- Maintaining and updating hotel media and marketing platforms;
- Reviewing and updating hotel policies and procedures to ensure maximum service, efficiency, and compliance with legislative requirements;
- Managing staff, including rostering and training; and
- Performing ad hoc internal and external hotel maintenance.
The successful candidates will have previous experience in Hotel Management or a similar role, along with marketing experience, and will be motivated to take initiative and drive the business forward with innovative ideas and online strategy.

As you will be utlising online systems as a management tool in this role, it is essential that you have a high-level of computer literacy with an advanced knowledge of Microsoft products, including Property Management System RMS 9. You must also have experience in managing and monitoring business financials, and knowledge of Food and Beverage trends including the ability to update hotel menus.
Please note: To be eligible for this role you must be a permanent Australian resident, and hold a current Driver’s License.
