About You
To be successful in this role, you will not only be degree and CA qualified (or on the way to obtaining) but also have proven 'hands-on' experience in the accounting sector.
You will be a strong and effective communicator and always willing to lend a hand when needed.
HBRC is looking for someone who is driven, self-motivated and eager to develop and expand on their existing skill set.
While not essential, previous experience in auditing or the commercial sector will be held in high regard.
About the Benefits
With over 80% of employees consistently rating HBRC as a great place to work in recent staff surveys, it's no wonder that the average employee tenure is 12 years! With a relatively small workforce in which 'everyone knows everyone' - they have succeeded in creating a welcoming, fun and family-friendly environment for its people.
In return for your hard work and dedication, you will be rewarded with an extremely competitive remuneration package (commensurate with experience), KiwiSaver and training opportunities.

About Hawke's Bay
Hawke’s Bay is a region of New Zealand located in the east of the North Island on the Pacific Ocean coast. With a mild Mediterranean climate, summer is quite often sunnier and hotter than the average for the rest of New Zealand.
If there were two words that summed up Hawke's Bay it would be 'Wine Country'. Hawke’s Bay is one of New Zealand’s warmest, driest regions and this has made it one of the country’s leading producers of wine and apples. As well as being a popular stop on numerous NZ wine tours, Hawke's Bay is also known as an art deco city, having been rebuilt after the 1931 earthquake.
There is also an extensive network of high quality off-road recreational walkways and cycleways to suit all fitness levels, boutique artisan food stores, and a variety of museums and galleries.
With glorious beaches and a family-friendly community, the Hawke's Bay region is as welcoming as it is unique, with universal appeal for people from all walks and stages of life.
If you're ready to grow and expand your skill set and be a part of a great team - Apply now!
