About the Opportunities

Koorana Child and Family Services have multiple opportunities for Occupational Therapists (OT) to join their team focusing on either South West Sydney or Inner West Sydney.

You will be responsible for providing support services to families who have a child enrolled in one of Koorana's services and who has additional needs that require occupational therapy services to address those specific needs. 

More specifically, your duties may include (but will not be limited to):

  • Implementing, planning and evaluating the allied health program in conjunction with other OT's;
  • Participating in trans-disciplinary practice within the team;
  • Consulting and/or referring to other professionals or agencies as appropriate;
  • Maintaining a high degree of professional awareness in regard to current best practice and research in the field; and
  • Efficiently managing a clinical caseload.

This is a mobile based role where you will be required to travel to your clients. This will usually take place in schools, recreational programs or in their homes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience working as an OT, in addition to tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration.

Experience in paediatrics and working with a paediatric caseload and a strong understanding of culturally diverse communities is essential.

Importantly, you will be a resilient individual with great interpersonal skills bringing energy and passion to deliver positive outcomes for clients in your care. 

Please note: You must have a drivers licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle.
