How will you make a difference …
We’re looking for talented and enthusiastic engineers with a passion for creating innovative solutions that will delight the user. This role provides a rare and exciting opportunity to work on a new product to help tertiary education students navigate their education, from class scheduling, to clubs and societies and advice on starting their career.
The successful candidates will work in a small, passionate, multi-disciplinary team that includes designs, business analysts and developers. You’ll have a real impact as a part of a start-up style team, building a brand-new product from the ground up.
We are looking for new team members with a range of experience, including graduate developers, senior developers and a system architect. The solution is being engineered using leading edge platforms and services, including React and .Net Core and will extend our best in class Software as a Service (SaaS) solution delivered on AWS. Experience in any of these technologies will be an advantage.
Applications from engineers with a passion for front-end, back-end or full stack development will be considered.
What will you be doing …
- You will work closely with other Developers, Designers and Business Analyst, designing outstanding software which exceeds everyone’s expectations.
- Undertake research, tech spikes and develop innovate technical designs.
- Writing simple, elegant code that is robust, scalable, testable and simple to maintain.
- Develop a deep and ‘hands-on’ understanding of the customers, product and technologies.
- Performing thorough analysis on business problems. You will develop smart solutions that make life simple for our customers
Your Talents …
- The following tech stack will be used for the product:
- Microsoft .Net
- React
- SQL Server
- Amazon Web Services – Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, S3
- Tools & processes such as Continuous Integration, Bitbucket, GIT, and Jira
- Experience with designing systems at scale that work well under load and at a high level of performance
