Due to continued growth, Cavpower now has multiple, full-time opportunities for Diesel Mechanics to join their team located in a state of the art CAT certified building in Adelaide.

This role will see you carrying out the following duties:

  • Performing both engine and transmission rebuilds to original specifications;
  • Carrying out diagnostics and fault finding;
  • Preparing reports on findings;
  • Interpreting specifications; and
  • Working to ensure compliance with all safety and contamination control guidelines.

This is a permanent full-time position working Monday-Friday but there will be many opportunities for paid overtime.

Do you have what it takes?

To be considered you must be trade qualified, diesel or light vehicle, although diesel would be preferred and exhibit strong mechanical knowledge.

Ideally, you will have come from a construction/mining/forestry background, with experience working on this type of machinery. However, candidates from a light vehicle automotive background will also be considered, providing they have extensive experience. Familiarity with CAT and dealer systems will be an advantage.

These positions require excellent diagnostic, attention to detail and repair skills and a strong commitment to meeting customer requirements whilst ensuring safety and quality measures are being met at all times. 

You must have a current drivers licence and a forklift licence would be highly regarded.

A competitive remuneration package is on offer circa $66,000 - $75,000 (negotiable with experience) plus super and paid overtime is available. Relocation assistance can also be negotiated for the right candidate.
