About the Opportunity
With exciting recent growth, and the Altona facility almost complete, Wettenhalls now has multiple full-time opportunities for Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join their team.
Ideally, Wettenhalls is looking for people to cover the PM shifts (3pm-1am Monday-Thursday), however there are also AM shifts available (7am-5pm Monday-Friday).
Reporting to the General Manager - Fleet and Maintenance, and working with another 3-4 Mechanics on any particular shift, this is essentially a heavy-vehicle servicing role that will see you providing generalised servicing work to the Wettenhalls fleet of trucks and trailers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for Mechanics with truck and trailer experience, to join an organisation that encourages ongoing training and career progression opportunities. Wettenhalls are also open to speaking to people who don't have formal trade qualifications as a Mechanic, but have considerable experience servicing trailers and prime movers.
Importantly, you will have good attention to detail, a positive attitude and a strong focus on workplace safety.
