About the Opportunity

Pacific Petroleum now has opportunities for proactive Business Development Managers (BDM) with knowledge and/or experience in the fuel industry to join their teams on a full-time basis in Mackay and Brisbane.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for networking and maintaining strong client relationships as well as securing new business to ensure profitability and sales growth for Pacific Petroleum.

More specifically, your duties will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Liaising with the Sales Manager on pricing and quotations;
  • Managing existing key accounts and client relationships;
  • Recognising and acting upon sales opportunities;
  • Planning and delivering marketing efforts in conjunction with business strategies; and
  • Preparing documentation as required.

About You

The successful candidates will ideally have knowledge or experience of the fuel industry and be able to utilise your knowledge to network and develop relationships with key contacts and existing clients. Candidates with previous experience with farm machinery, manufacturing or industrial experience would also be considered.

While previous experience in Sales is not essential, your ability to build rapport and develop relationships will be imperative to your success in these positions.

Importantly, you will be an enthusiastic and motivated team player, who consistently delivers a high level of customer service. 

Please note: If you are applying for the Mackay position it is imperative you reside there and are extremely familiar with the region.

In return for your hard work, you will receive an attractive salary circa $75,000 - $90,000 (commensurate with skills and experience) plus super.
