About the Opportunity
RAR Therapy is a therapy company providing the community with first-class therapy services via home visits, nursing homes, community centres and schools.
Due to continued growth, RAR Therapy has an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their dedicated team in Mackay on a full-time basis.
Under the support and guidance of Senior Occupational Therapists, your main responsibility will be to provide professional occupational therapy services to a wide range of clients through comprehensive assessments, ensuring they are receiving the highest level of support that is tailored specifically to them.
Your duties may include, but will not be limited to;
- Conducting home-based evaluations, recommendations and reports;
- Prescribing aids, adaptive equipment and modifications where required;
- Planning, coordination and implementation of group therapy programs; and
- Working effectively within a highly skilled therapy team.
About You
The successful candidate will have a degree in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration, or eligible to obtain - RAR will pay any fees for ongoing AHPRA registration and Professional Indemnity providing you obtain membership with Occupational Therapy Australia.
RAR Therapy is open to considering individuals across all levels of skills and experience, including Graduates.
Candidates will need to have a current, unrestricted drivers licence and access to reliable transport. Although not essential, candidates who are available to undertake travel outside of Mackay would be held in high regard.
