About the Opportunity

CMI now has a newly created position for an Administration Assistant to join their team based on the Gold Coast. Initially, this role will be offered on a permanent part-time basis (5 days per week, 5 hours per day). Once you have completed your training (which is likely to occur within your first two months), this will increase to full-time hours.

This is a true 'all-rounder' position that will see you providing a wide variety of administrative support services to the Office Manager and Logistics Manager. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Coordinating logistics for sales representative activities, as well as for events/conferences as required;
  • General data entry and reporting;
  • Accounts processing including processing of invoices and use of MYOB (with no payroll duties); and
  • General filing, researching and office duties as directed by the Office Manager.

No qualifications are required to be considered for this role, although if you have them - great! What you will need though, is demonstrated experience working in an administrative capacity in an office environment; the ability to touch-type (this is a must!); and the ability to be a steel trap when it comes to attention to detail and following processes.

In addition you will:

  • Be a whiz with Microsoft Office 365;
  • Be articulate, well-spoken and professional in your communications with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Pick things up quickly, with the ability to work autonomously; and
  • Have common sense, with a logical and thoughtful approach to decision making.
