Hydraulic Doctors now has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Hydraulic Technician to join their team in Queanbeyan, on a full-time basis. This is a Monday to Friday role with occasional Saturday work on a rotating roster. Opportunities for overtime are also available and will be paid at penalty rates and all field work is local so no travel outside of the area is required.
Reporting to the Service Manager, this role will see you performing crane EWP systems servicing and inspections including diagnostics, fault finding, maintenance, installation, commissioning and repair.
You'll be working with a huge range of hydraulic equipment and general components (heavy industrial), both onsite and in the field. You will get huge variety, exciting challenges and constant learning opportunities in your day-to-day work, including the opportunity to work on unique, one-of-a-kind units that are unlike anything else you may have worked on before!
About You
This role requires someone with a proven background of troubleshooting and diagnostics for hydraulic systems.
The successful candidate will have:
- Relevant trade qualifications;
- 3+ years experience in a similar role;
- A commitment to great customer service; and
- A current manual driver's license.
Any experience in proportional hydraulics will be highly regarded. Importantly, you will be energised by the idea of new challenges, thinking outside the box and working autonomously as needed to effectively complete work.
This role would be well-suited to someone who wants to share their knowledge and provide guidance and mentoring to the apprentices and less experienced people in the business.
