About MOJO Beverages

MOJO Beverages (MOJO) was created by Australia’s first family of kombucha, who introduced bottles of sparkling, fermented tea to market in 2010, pioneering the fastest growing beverage category in Australia. 

MOJO’s humble beginnings link directly back to the company's founder Anthony Crabb, who was introduced to the drink by a well-travelled friend. It inspired him to begin handcrafting home batches of his own kombucha, and after perfecting his brew, Anthony, with the help of his wife Sarah and a committed tribe of family and friends, embarked on a mission to take kombucha to the people – all beginning with an esky at the local farmers market. 

Today MOJO is sold throughout 4,000 outlets nationwide and remains true to its belief that true health begins within.

The Opportunity

MOJO now has two full-time opportunities for enthusiastic Sales Representatives to manage significant territories in Queensland and Victoria.

The Gold Coast role will see you looking after a territory stretching from South Brisbane through the Gold Coast region and down to the Northern Rivers/Byron Bay Shire area, while the Melbourne West role will see you looking after a territory stretching from Essendon down to Geelong. As you will be predominantly working on the road, you will principally be based out of home, with the option to work out of one of MOJO's offices as needed (Arundel in QLD or Moorabbin/Geelong in VIC), with regular phone and Skype contact with the rest of the sales team.

As a Sales Representative for MOJO you will be primarily responsible for building your territory through increasing brand availability, winning new customers and growing sales of MOJO, as well as account managing an existing portfolio of key clients.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Developing long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with MOJO customers and distributors in your territory;
  • Achieving budgeted sales, distribution and new business targets;
  • Working with your existing client base to activate in outlet and via promotional programs; and
  • Monitoring and reporting on local market activity around areas such as category insights across functional beverages, competitor products and activation in trade.

As this is a highly autonomous role, it's important you be a self-motivated, organised and highly energetic hunter, with the ability to assess, consider and open new channels and the well-developed negotiation, persuasion and excellent communication skills required to engage with prospective new clients and establishing long-term relationships!

The ideal candidates will have a keen interest in a healthy lifestyle, wellbeing and organics, with pre-existing relationships and in-place networks in FMCG being highly regarded.

Please note: You'll be responsible for covering a large geographic territory - a current, unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence and access to your own insured and reliable car are requirements of this position.

An attractive remuneration package is on offer, which will be negotiable based on the skills and experience you bring to the role. As a guide, this will include a base salary plus super, car and phone allowances.
