About the Opportunity

Sicom are currently seeking several QC Technicians for Machined Components (NOC Code 7231) to join our team in Langley, British Columbia on a full-time basis. We work on a Monday to Friday schedule and there are two shift options available with flexibility on start times: 

  •  Morning 06.00 am - 2:30 pm
  •  Afternoon 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm (paid Lunch Break) 

In this role, you will be responsible for verifying dimensions of machined parts, tooling using mirometers, verniers, callipers, height gauges, optical compatators, co-ordinate measuring machines (CMM) or other specialized measuring instruments.  

Primary responsibilities include: 

  • Inspecting, repairing and calibrating precision measuring instruments such as dial indicators, fixed gauges, height gauges and other measuring devices
  • Completing and maintaining inspection reports

For this role, our ideal candidate will have completed a four-year apprenticeship program or have a minimum of four years of work experience in the trade, combined with some relevant education
