Our client specialises in the supply, installation and servicing of new, used, and refurbished generator sets for a range of industrial, commercial, domestic and recreational applications.
They have a number of locations along the East coast of Australia, offering a comprehensive range of power generation, power proving and power testing equipment with the latest technology for sale or hire, short or long term.
About the Opportunity
There's now an opportunity for a full-time State/Branch Manager to oversee their NSW Branch in Western Sydney.
Leading a team of approximately 7 staff, you will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of the office, sales and workshop activities for the NSW branch, working with the National Sales Manager to oversee the sales team.
More specifically, your duties will include:
- Ensuring all Motor Vehicles, Hire Equipment other plant and equipment are kept clean, serviced and properly maintained.
- Developing and working to a business plan, developing new business opportunities;
- Ensuring all OH&S Standards and Worksafe practises are understood and followed by all; and
- Meeting Department and Branch Sales targets, containing all expenditure in line with the Branch Profit and Loss Documents.
About You
To be considered for this position you will be a strong problem solver, with solid analytics skills and strong understanding of business processes. Any experience related to electrical power generation would be highly regard, though not essential provided you have a general understanding of the industry and are willing to learn more.
This position requires a mature, co-operative person with common sense, and the ability to adapt to new priorities or problems. Power generator and power proving equipment can present difficult and complex problems to solve, and as such, this position would be well-suited to someone who loves a challenge and can demonstrate patience and calm under pressure.
