About the Role
BLA Distribution is seeking an experienced and reliable Service Manager to join their team in Murrarie, Brisbane, on a full-time basis.
The main focus in this position will be managing the entire operation of the service department for Australia, NZ and overall staff performance and KPI's.
Within this varied and fast-paced role, you will need to liaise with the Product teams regularly to ensure you keep the relevant team informed and up to date with new quality control issues and service requirements within the business. It is also imperative that all repairs are completed within the 72-hour timeframe, and that this is measured and reported on.
You will be responsible for mentoring and supporting the service department, completing monthly reporting, overseeing and organising regular stock takes, return for credits and ensuring the Service Department meets the expectations and standards set.
About You
BLA is looking for a passionate boaty with demonstrated management experience. While not essential, marine or service history experience will be highly regarded.
Your ability to effectively communicate with a range of contacts including suppliers, customers, colleagues, senior management and other key stakeholders will ensure the smooth running of the service department.
Tertiary qualifications in a mechanical /electronic or a related discipline are desired.
