About the Opportunity
Riverstone Family Medical Practice has a unique opportunity for an experienced Business/Practice Manager to join their team in North-west Sydney on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Practice Principles, the main focus of the Practice Manager will be to manage, develop and implement an effective business plan that is in line with the vision, mission statement and objectives.
While overseeing the day to day operations of the Medical Practice, you will also be required to regularly monitor and review systems and processes to ensure financial viability, efficiencies and effective service delivery.
Of vital important will be your contribution as leader of the team to motivate, train, support and inspire all members to provide the best quality customer service.
More specifically, your day to day duties may also include (but will not be limited to):
- Working with the Bookkeeper and Accountant to ensure financial records, taxation records and required reports are prepared in a timely and accurate manner;
- Providing monthly reports and updates on business activity to the Practice Principles;
- Monitoring the implemented business plan and ensuring results and outcomes are being achieved;
- Preparing and implementing operational budgets in consultation with the Practice Principles;
- Leading and supporting staff on a day to day basis;
- Preparing staffing rosters including undertaking recruitment for the Practice as required; and
- Fostering a positive and supportive team environment that promotes hard work, accountability and exceptional customer service delivery.

About You
To be successful you must have significant experience managing a small to medium business including HR, strategic and day-to-day planning, budgeting and reporting. An understanding of the private healthcare sector would be highly regarded.
You will also need to have a strong understanding of financial management and compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations including employment, OH&S, privacy and taxation.
