A leading edge career opportunity

Life Without Barriers now has an opportunity for a Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis, in Tamworth, NSW. Clinical Psychologists, Psychologists or Clinical Social Workers will all be considered.

You will manage and support a team to conduct therapy and case management using the Multisystemic Therapy (Child Abuse and Neglect) model.

More specifically your responsibilities may include (but not be limited to):

  • Managing and supporting the team to conduct therapy and case management;
  • Delivering supervision and collaborating with MST experts on service delivery and model fidelity;
  • Building relationships with community stakeholders, such as child protection services, courts, police, health services and schools; and
  • Ensuring the program is compliant with funding requirements and all reporting is undertaken in line with the program outcomes; and
  • Conducting MST-CAN assessments including reviewing referral information, identifying and engaging key participants, identifying systemic strengths/weaknesses, and developing an analysis of the problem behaviours within the ecological context.

The ideal candidates for this position will have a Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work or other related fields that equip you to deliver and support therapeutic interventions. Any prior experience in MST or MST-CAN delivery will be highly regarded but is not mandatory.

All candidates will need to either hold registration or be eligible for registration with the relevant professional organisation/s.
