About the Opportunity

Tamlin International Homes Ltd. is currently seeking an enthusiastic Residential Construction Sales Specialist to join our team in Coquitlam, BC. 

As our Residential Construction Sales Specialist, you will use your knowledge of residential construction, design, and project management to build the Tamlin brand among new customers by turning initial customer inquiry into long term, mutually beneficial partnerships. In the long term, this position can grow to include a business development focus. 

More specifically your duties will include:

  • Responding to sales inquiries promptly by phone, email or in person at our showroom facilities.
  • Working efficiently to satisfy client needs and at the same time qualifying prospects. 
  • Communicating and following up with the design team, project staff, and clients to move projects through various stages of design, budgeting, and contract. 
  • Adjusting sales contracts and final confirmations of specifications, terms, final costs, and payment schedules to ensure that the client's expectations and the final documentation are aligned. 
  • Handling both full build and house package inquiries with a technical understanding of the building process and specifications. 
  • Generating and following up on leads from our in-house database, and other lead generation techniques
  • Preparing sales action plans, sales proposals, and sales strategies. 
  • Maintaining regular office hours and performing tasks as required for client meetings, trade shows, or other sales related activities. 

In order to qualify for this role, you will have previous experience in residential construction, design, interior design, and/or project management. You will also have a demonstrable history of client satisfaction and thrive on face to face and one on one client communication. Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, and having knowledge of Wordpress is an asset.  

Our ideal candidate for this role will be an excellent communicator both verbally and in written form while also possessing proven sales hunting and closing skills. Your highly organized nature will ensure you are comfortable and successful when conducting face to face presentations and negotiations.
