About the Opportunity
McCormack Industries now has an opportunity for a proactive Mechanical Design Engineer/Draftsperson to join their team in Aubigny, QLD on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Lead Engineer, you will be required to complete mechanical designs, 3D CAD models and detailed technical drawings.
Additional duties may include (but will not be limited to):
- Creating detailed production drawings;
- Designing and modelling new assemblies and parts;
- Updating and revising existing assemblies and drawings;
- Measuring industrial machines and tractors on site as required;
- Liaising with production, fabrications and sales staff members;
- Programming CNC plasma cutting equipment; and
- Managing incoming projects.
About You
To be successful, you must hold Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering along with strong design or drafting and 3D CAD experience.
Any exposure to the industrial and/or agricultural manufacturing sector will be a distinct advantage.
McCormack Industries are seeking an individual who has exceptional verbal and written communication skills of the English language and who exhibits a high attention to detail and time management skills at all times.
The successful applicant must hold an unencumbered C class drivers licence.
