About the Opportunity

St Carthage's Community Care currently has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Rostering Officer to join their dedicated team in Lismore.

More specifically, some of your key duties and responsibilities will see you, but aren't limited to:

  • Develop, negotiate and produce regular staff and client rosters;
  • Work as part of the Rostering team to deliver accurate rosters for staff and clients;
  • Create and change rosters as required;
  • Plan, arrange and roster the induction and orientation program for new staff in collaboration and negotiation with other relevant staff;
  • Collect, collate and provide relevant data and statistics as requested; and
  • Read and interpret Awards and Agreements for the community care sector.

About You

To be successful in this role you will ideally have demonstrated experience or a good understanding of the development, negotiation and production of client and staff rosters. Additionally, you will need to be computer literate in a Windows environment, particularly in client management software, word processing, spreadsheets and desktop publishing.

You will need to be able to work efficiently under pressure and will display effective time management skills ensuring your ability to plan and organise your work to achieve organisational objectives. Although not essential, candidates who have previously worked with or have knowledge of NDIS and/or Aged Care will be highly regarded.

St Carthage's Community Care is seeking self-motivated, customer-focused candidates with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to make immediate decisions when required. Your exceptional attention to detail will be key to your success in this role.

Although not essential, knowledge of geographical locations within the Far North Coast for rostering purposes would be an advantage.

Please note: Candidates must have access to reliable transportation and be willing to undergo a Police check prior to employment.
