About the Opportunity
RAR Therapy provides first-class children and adult therapy services via home visits, nursing homes, community centres, schools, kindergartens and child care centres.
Due to continued growth, RAR Therapy has multiple opportunities for Occupational Therapists to join their dedicated teams in Rockhampton or Cairns on a full-time basis. There may also be part-time opportunities available for the right candidates.
Your main responsibility in this role will be to provide professional occupational therapy services to a wide range of clients through comprehensive assessments and ongoing therapy, ensuring they are receiving the highest level of support that is tailored specifically to them.
Your duties may include, but will not be limited to;
- Conducting home-based evaluations, recommendations and reports;
- Prescribing aids, adaptive equipment and modifications where required;
- Planning, coordination and implementation of group therapy programs; and
- Working effectively within a highly skilled therapy team.
About You
The successful candidate will have a degree in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration - RAR will pay any fees for ongoing AHPRA registration and Professional Indemnity providing you obtain membership with Occupational Therapy Australia.
Importantly, you will be passionate about delivering a high level of support to all your clients. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to develop and grow genuine relationships with clients will be pivotal to your success in this role.
Please note: Candidates will need to have a current, unrestricted drivers licence and access to reliable transport.
