About the Organisation

Illawarra Speech Pathology (ISP) is an independent, family owned and operated practice delivering comprehensive Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy services across the Illawarra region from two locations; Warilla and Corrimal. ISP's approach to therapy is highly individualised and client-centred, focusing on the client's unique strengths to maximise their opportunity to communicate successfully and gain more independence in their everyday lives

With a commitment to providing excellent service to all clients, whether at the practice, at their school, or in the home, ISP is proud to be expanding their friendly supportive team in order to accommodate significant growth across all services and NDIS participants.

About the Opportunities

Due to this growth, ISP now has 2 x opportunities for passionate and dedicated Speech Pathologists to join their team. These roles will see you splitting your time between the Warilla and Corrimal practices (approximately 4 days per week and 1 day per week respectively).

Ideally, these positions will be offered on a full-time basis, however ISP is also open to discussing part-time arrangements with the successful candidates if this is preferred.

As a Speech Pathologist with ISP you will primarily be responsible for the planning, delivery and evaluation of discipline-specific clinical services across the local area, including school and home visits. More specifically, you will provide diagnostic assessment and management of disorders of communication and swallowing through direct intervention, education, consultancy and advocacy or a combination of these approaches.

To be considered for this role you must be a tertiary qualified Speech Pathologist and hold current registration with Speech Pathology Australia (or be eligible to obtain).

Candidates of all experience levels are welcome to apply, from recent graduates to well-established clinical professionals.

Importantly, Illawarra Speech Pathology is looking for collaborative, engaging professionals who can work autonomously as needed and build trust, rapport and strong relationships with clients, their families and the community.

About the Benefits

Illawarra Speech Pathology offers a supportive, experienced team of professionals who can provide supervision and mentoring as needed to help you develop your clinical skills, across a wide range of practice areas.

An attractive remuneration package is on offer, commensurate with your skills and experience.

A fantastic range of additional benefits are also on offer, including:

  • Travel reimbursed with a $0.78/km travel allowance;
  • Relocation assistance up to $2,000 if moving to the region from out of state;
  • Annual professional development allowance up to $1,000
  • Ongoing mentoring and career progression opportunities into supervisory, leadership and management roles based on your performance.
