EC Power is a growing division of EC Group, a well-established Australian organisation employing 85 staff in order to provide project installation, high end products, and technical support across multiple industry sectors. At the forefront of the latest construction technologies, they specialise in a range of commercial projects. They handle all aspects of the construction process, with in-house engineering, project management, and a labour workforce.

Based in Silverwater, NSW, they deliver projects throughout Sydney and the Central Coast. 

About the Opportunity

EC Power now has an exciting opportunity for a personable Project Manager to join their team in Silverwater, NSW on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the General Manager, this is a hands-on and busy role that will see you managing projects from conception to completion, across various sites and varying from $50,000 to $2,000,000 in scope. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the procurement process, including planning and ordering for all resources required for each project;
  • Providing a high level of guidance, leadership, and support to project team and site administration staff;
  • Regular reporting, including managing budgets and ensuring project timeframes are being met; and
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, sub-contractors, existing staff, and owners.

About You

To be considered for this position you will hold relevant qualifications/licenses in construction or project management, or demonstrated experience in a similar role. 

EC Power is looking for a personable individual who will work well both autonomously and within the existing team, collaborating as required to get the best results for their clients.

Whilst you won't have any direct reports in this role, you will be providing leadership to the crew on site (including sub-contractors), and as such leadership experience and/or a proven aptitude to lead effectively will be a must. This role would be well-suited to a proven Project Manager looking for an opportunity to join a growing Australian business and/or someone with previous relevant experience looking to step up into a management role.

An ideal candidate will be able to build on their existing experience and strong communication skills to bring a high-level of stakeholder management. You will demonstrate initiative, have good problem-solving skills and be approachable and personable in your dealings with internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to organise the team and bring them together to get the job done within set timeframes. Strong attention to detail and a 'can-do' attitude will be key for achieving success in this role.

Any trade qualified Electricians and/or candidates with specific experience using Simpro will be highly regarded. The successful candidate will require a White Card and a manual driver's license.

About the Benefits

EC Power offers an attractive remuneration package circa $90,000 - $130,000 plus super (commensurate with skills and experience).
