About the Opportunity
RKF Engineering Services now has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Structural Draftsperson to join their head office team in Wollongong, NSW, on a full-time basis.
Working within the engineering and drafting team, this role will see you producing detailed documentation in the delivery of remediation and capital projects involving largely business critical infrastructure. With a focus on concrete and steel, you will provide structural drafting services within agreed budgets and deadlines, to support the design team located at multiple sites across Australia.
As this role progresses, contributing to the continued up-skilling, success and providing guidance to the more junior members of the team, will become a more prominent aspect of this role.
This role would be best suited to a mid-level Structural Draftsperson with at least 5 years experience in detailed drafting of reinforced and pre-stressed concrete and steelwork. You will have advanced skills in AutoCAD and any experience undertaking on-site engineering condition assessments will be highly regarded, as would any experience using Microstation.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to speak and write clearly and concisely, and have good attention to detail and pride in your work. Working across a number of projects and sites at any given time, you will need to be well organised, calm under pressure, and comfortable working as part of a small team.
