About the Opportunity

Ducats now has an opportunity for a Concrete Batcher to join the team at their site in Armidale, NSW. This is a full-time, Monday to Saturday position requiring around 40 hours per week. 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all day-to-day administration of the plant, including ensuring production requirements meet both manufacturing costs and customer expectations.

Key duties will include:

  • Liaising with office staff on a daily basis to prepare for the next day's work;
  • General yard housekeeping and plant maintenance;
  • Upholding quality assurance and ISO certification standards at all times;
  • Organising trucks and drivers to ensure Ducats is running smoothly for their customers;
  • Overseeing stock control to ensure material quantities and stock levels are adequate; and
  • Batching of orders to specified mix designs.

About You

Ducats is looking for a personable, approachable person with a focus on quality customer service; and the ability to confidently build rapport with diverse customers. You will have the ability to work cooperatively in a team, and experience with managing drivers and other employees directly.

You will have a background in the concrete industry and significant batching experience, with a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Computer skills, including the ability to learn and use a range of software packages, will be essential.

You will hold a current white card, and have a current HR License and Front End Loader experience. While a Truck License is ideal, it is not required.

For your hard work and dedication you will be awarded an attractive salary circa $80,000 - $100,000 (negotiable based on your skills and experience).
