About the Opportunity
Forest Lake Lodge has a highly rewarding opportunity for a Clinical Manager to join their team in Forest Lake, Brisbane on a full-time basis.
Working alongside the General Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and management to all clinical staff to ensure that a high level of care is provided to residents, in accordance with the philosophy and business practices of the organisation.
Your duties will include:
- Updating policies and providing training to ensure conduct aligns with Forest Lake Lodge's mission and philosophy;
- Developing innovative programs and strategies to increase resident service delivery and outcomes;
- Ensuring that all regulatory and accreditation requirements are met;
- Ensuring all ACFI funding claims are undertaken accurately and on-time;
- Providing monthly performance and forecasting reports to management;
- Ensuring each residents’ needs and preferences are current and accurate; and
- Ensuring that all staff are compliant with WH&S and Injury Management practices and procedures.
About You
You will be a qualified, AHPRA registered nurse with no restrictions and significant experience within a residential aged care setting.
It is important that you have a demonstrated understanding of the new Aged Care standards and recent changes in the Aged Care industry. You will also need a commitment to ongoing professional development and a high level of interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
You will have prior leadership experience and be able to effectively manage staff, in addition to having exceptional communication, time-management, and customer service skills, and the ability to demonstrate sound judgment under pressure.
Additionally, you will need to have a strong understanding of Aged Care Accreditation Standards and the Aged Care Funding Instrument. You will also need to be confident in your ability to effectively use a range of computer applications and software, with experience using iCare or any other clinical management system highly regarded.
Please note: You will need to have or be able to obtain a current Police Certificate with appropriate clearance.
