About the Opportunity
Carter & Spencer now has a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join their team. This is a full-time position based at the Bundaberg packing facility.
Reporting to the Group Services Manager and working closely with the sales, operations and site management teams, this is a hands on role that will see you primarily responsible for the coordination and management of the quality processes and procedures of the Bundaberg facility. You will also be responsible for overseeing approximately 5 direct reports within the Quality Assurance team.
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Ensuring food safety and statutory obligations of Carter & Spencer are achieved;
- Coordinating and participating in the completion of all daily QC tasks as required ie inbound/outbound checks and retention sample management;
- Advising on storage, rotation and maturity issues of stock on hand; and
- Promoting a high-quality workplace health and safety program that instills a 'safe work' culture in staff.

An attractive remuneration package is on offer circa $60,000-$80,000 + super, negotiable with the skills and experience you are bringing to the role. Relocation assistance will also be considered for the right person, should you be relocating to the region.

About You
To be considered for this position you will need to hold HACCP certification with a strong understanding of food safety systems and previous experience in a quality assurance role.
You will need to have strong numeric analytical skills with computer and tablet literacy and communication skills suitable to deal with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy of information. Any experience using Greenlight QC software will be highly regarded.
Importantly, you will be solutions-oriented with a good work ethic and a commitment towards further learning and development.
