About the Opportunity
Due to ongoing growth, Mediquip now has an exciting, newly created opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable person to join their Finance Team. This role is based at Loganholme, approximately half an hour south from Brisbane's CBD and is being offered on either a full-time or part-time basis (5 days per week), with some flexibility around start/finish times.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your day-to-day duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Processing of a high-volume of invoices;
- Completing payments, related journals, account reconciliation and reports for suppliers;
- Organising costs/POs for international and local shipments;
- Credit card reconciliations and end-of-month reporting;
- Reviewing existing expenses on things such as stationary, travel etc, and identifying opportunities for cost savings; and
- Ad hoc tasks as required as part of the accounts team to meet deadlines.
About You
To be considered for this position you will have considerable previous experience in an accounts payable role, including the use of an ERP system (ideally Pronto).
You will have strong attention to detail, ensuring correct values and codes are entered correctly and will take responsibility for and pride in your tasks, whilst working collaboratively with the rest of the finance team.
Mediquip is looking for a mature accounts payable professional who is strong in character, calm under pressure and comfortable managing their own workflow. This role would be well-suited to someone re-entering the workforce or looking to work within school hours.
