About the Opportunity

West Shore Constructors are looking for Piledrivers & Labourers to join our team, working primarily on projects in the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland areas. 

In these roles, you will be working in a construction crew that ranges from small teams of 3 to large teams of 20+ for the duration of your assigned project. 

In order to qualify for both roles, you will need a minimum of 2 years experience in the heavy construction industry. 

The ideal candidate for the Piledriver role will have experience in pile driving, rigging, heavy equipment operation, marine work, concrete formwork, timber, steel and concrete bridge construction.

Preference will be given to experienced candidates holding a current Piledriver – Bridgeworker Certificate of Qualification. However, we are always looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals and so others are also encouraged to apply as training will be provided where necessary. 

The ideal candidate for the Labourer role will be hardworking and keen to learn about the heavy construction industry. Tasks will include general labour, operating mobile equipment, rigging for cranes, assisting ticketed carpenters, rigging for cranes and cleaning up the site.

For those interested in starting a career and/or apprenticeship as a carpenter, welder, or piledriver in the heavy construction industry, this is an excellent organization to grow with.
