About the Opportunity

High Resolves now has an opportunity for a motivated Program Manager to join their newly-created team in Wollongong, working from home when not on-site. This role is being offered on a full-time basis, with part-time and flexible hours negotiable depending on your needs. The successful candidate will commence on the 8th of January 2020.

Reporting to the NSW Program Director, you will be responsible for delivering the High Resolves Global Citizens and Leaders program to high school students at a diverse range of schools in the Illawarra Region. You will be travelling to schools and delivering on-site programs approximately 3-4 days a week, with an expectation to complete administration work on non delivery days.

More specifically, some of your key duties will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Facilitating groups of no more than 60 students in school venues;
  • Managing pre- and post-delivery logistics with schools and youth organisations, including the processing of evaluations;
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with all participating schools and new prospective schools.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have experience as a teacher or training facilitator in a high school environment. A 'can-do' attitude and genuine passion for social justice is essential.

You will be a confident and charismatic public speaker, able to inspire and engage large groups of students aged 12 - 16 years. Your natural storytelling skills and experience developing and maintaining professional relationships will help you to effectively facilitate projects in a variety of locations.

You will be comfortable and capable of working autonomously, but also able to work effectively as part of a wider team, with experience managing and motivating small teams highly regarded.

A current driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle will be essential as you travel to each site.
