Space now has a fantastic full-time opportunity for a Delivery Driver to join their team. This role will be predominantly based out of the Laverton North warehouse, with the majority of deliveries around Melbourne's inner, south-eastern suburbs.
Working Monday to Friday between 7am and 3pm, you will be responsible for daily deliveries to customers including unloading and loading of trucks and assembly on smaller product ranges (Installers are used for more complex assemblies). You will also be required to assist the warehouse team as required with the unloading of new stock from containers.
Previous experience in furniture delivery will be highly regarded, but is not mandatory to be considered for this role. You will however, need the following:
- Previous warehousing experience;
- A current, valid Driver's License;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to converse professionally with customers; and
- Be physically fit, able to pass a medical test, and able to carry and move heavy loads as part of your daily work.
The furniture that you will be moving is high-end, expensive, one-of-a-kind pieces that need to be handled with the upmost care and consideration. As such, the successful person in this role will need to possess an exceptional work ethic, demonstrate honesty and integrity, and have an appreciation for the level of attention needed in delivering products to customers in pristine condition.

Please note: The successful candidate will be required to obtain a White Card and pass a National Police Check prior to commencement. Regular drug and alcohol testing is also a requirement of this position.
