About your new role...

Rapidly expanding, with new stores popping up across the country, Rockwear is looking for a passionate, full-time Area Manager to join the team in ACT and help support the brand as they continue to grow and expand their movement. We're also looking for full-time Store Managers at a number of our Canberra locations.

You'll be responsible for driving sales, recruiting new team members, training, inducting and maintaining the highest level of customer standards and operational performance across three stores in the ACT and a regional location.

This is a hands-on role, which will see you rotating between each store location to work closely with store management and casual team members to foster a culture of positivity, professionalism and strong communication.

Never a dull moment, you'll ensure each store is upholding merchandising standards and get actively involved in growing the brand, identifying and participating in local area marketing opportunities.

Monitoring and managing KPIs will allow you to identify any issues in performance and set clear goals, strategies and plans in place.

We're looking for someone who's genuinely interested in the brand and isn't afraid to lead by example, get involved with all aspects of the store, and spend time on the floor with your team and with customers.

You will be naturally sales-driven, with proven experience in in high-volume store management, as a Store Manager, and experience managing multiple high-volume store locations as an Area Manager, meeting sales targets and KPIs for both. Although not essential, experience within the women's fashion or activewear industry will be highly regarded.

Your team is going to be your greatest asset, and you'll be passionate about developing their skills and promoting from within through successful hiring, training, coaching, retention, succession planning and team motivation.

These are high-volume stores, and you will need to be capable of making smart business decisions, keeping calm under pressure and acting with urgency as you juggle multiple priorities and stakeholders. You'll be flexible but extremely organised and have high attention to detail to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
