About the Opportunity
Valmont Irrigation Australia now has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Marketing Coordinator to join their team in Darra, Brisbane, on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Marketing and Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading marketing activities within the Asia-Pacific region.
More specifically, some of your key duties will include:
- Analysing regional performance to support strategic decisions and opportunities;
- Leading the development of region specific advertisements and social media campaigns, based on corporate marketing tools (Blog, YouTube Channel, and Facebook);
- Supporting and educating the dealer network, including providing them with custom marketing materials and ensuring they have the materials necessary to properly promote the Valley Brand;
- Organising and travelling to regional, national and international events and trade shows as required;
- Tracking the results of campaigns and projects, using this information to help drive the success of future marketing and sales activity;
- Collaborating with the Global Marketing Team, developing CRM tools and managing customer contact databases.
Please note: You will be required to travel both domestically and internationally, approximately 10% - 25% of your time each month so must be comfortable with this aspect of the role.
About You
This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven marketer who understands the importance of a well-rounded and executed marketing strategy, utilising the 4 P's (Product, Pricing, Placing and Promotion) in developing local and regional strategies.
Previous experience in a similar role is not essential, provided you can thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and tackle a variety of tasks across multiple divisions and departments.
Whilst a degree in a relevant field would be highly regarded, Valmont Irrigation Australia is open to candidates without a qualification who can demonstrate a genuine desire and ability to learn.
You will be self-motived, confident and capable of taking initiative and both identifying problems and providing creative solutions. Additional language skills, particularly Mandarin, would be an advantage.
Finally, it is essential that you have solid written and verbal communication skills, are capable of using a range of computer software and have a strong attention to detail.
