About the Opportunity
Due to ongoing growth, Technicool Air Conditioning now has an exciting opportunity for a confident and hands-on Project Manager/Sales Representative to join their team in West Brisbane, QLD on a full-time basis.
Reporting and working closely with the Managing Director, this is a varied and busy role that will see you actively managing the delivery of multiple projects to ensure that a quality service is delivered to both domestic and commercial clients.
Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Quoting for projects and managing the financial performance of the project, including setting and maintaining budgets and managing monthly progress claims;
- Writing reports and scope of work for extra works pricing approval;
- Conducting post-project reviews to identify strengths or weaknesses in the project and delivery technique to improve future company performance;
- Continually seeking new customer and product growth opportunities and maintaining and developing an established customer base; and
- Developing long-term trusting relationships ensuring strong client engagement and satisfaction.
About You
To be considered for this position you will have significant experience in Air-Conditioning technical services and estimating or experience in a similar industry. Any relevant qualifications, whilst not essential, will be highly regarded.
You will have the relevant technician skills and knowledge to confidently advise, service, provide maintenance and have the final say in project decisions. You will be a dynamic leader and a strong communicator, with the ability to engage with people face to face, over the phone, and through email. Ideally, you will have competency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
As a reliable professional, you have a record of achieving results. Experience in sales will be highly regarded. Similarly, you will have genuine interest in the industry and are motivated to ensure that clients receive the highest quality of care and service.
You will be able to work autonomously on a variety of tasks and projects, effectively managing competing deadlines whilst staying flexible enough to deal with urgent situations as required.
A passion for the industry is a must as is creative thinking when it comes to sales ideas and new accounts.
