Semester Two Opportunities Now Open!

An exciting opportunity has become available for an inspired and passionate Christian educator to join their growing school community for Semester 2, 2020. They are seeking Secondary Teachers to start as soon as possible, teaching English or Psychology to Years 11 and 12.  

You will be joining a close knit secondary team who prides themselves on treating each child as if they were their own. Providing high quality curriculum delivery and pastoral care for young students is a priority for those at Border Rivers Christian College.

To be considered for this role, you will be a Registered Teacher in Queensland or have a permission to teach in Queensland. Both experienced teachers and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. New teachers will be assigned a buddy to help them with the transition to Border Rivers Christian College.

As an English Teacher, will have a demonstrated history of either teaching English or specialising in the subject during your time at university. Although experience in Psychology would be highly regarded, Border Rivers is open to candidates from another science or humanities background with a genuine interest in this field. 

Your Christian faith and values will be what drives you as you teach at Border Rivers Christian College and will guide you when making decisions on a daily basis.

The right attitude is important for this position; your ability to get up and go, participate in all activities and, a smiling, infectious energy will be what sets you apart from other candidates.
