About the Opportunity
EC Power now has an exciting opportunity for a personable Service Technician to join their team in Sydney on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the State Service Manager, this is a newly-created and autonomous position that will see you carrying out electrical service work for a variety of commercial, industrial and government projects in Sydney and regional NSW.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing walk-through inspections and identifying faults, utilising thermal imaging cameras as needed;
- Testing and tagging electrical equipment;
- Completing service reports and carrying out general maintenance work if required; and
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with clients, identifying potential leads if applicable.
About You
To be considered for this position you will hold a current, valid Electrical License. Previous experience in a similar role is not essential, with highly organised, newly qualified electricians welcome to apply.
You will demonstrate initiative, have good problem-solving skills and be approachable and personable in your dealings with internal and external stakeholders. Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills and a 'can-do' attitude will be key for achieving success in this role.
Please note: You will need to be able and willing to travel to client sites throughout NSW, which may involve up to two weeks at a time away from home. The successful candidate will also require a White Card and a manual driver's license.
