About the Opportunity
Knauf Australia now has an exciting Graduate opportunity for a dynamic Marketing Assistant to join the team at their Beenleigh office on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales and Marketing team, coordinating a range of marketing and communications activities to help achieve Knauf's business objectives and marketing strategies.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Managing events, liaising with the event planner and suppliers, organising bookings and coordinating event collateral;
- Organising marketing collateral, preparing briefs, working with graphic designers and other suppliers, meeting deadlines and maintaining stock levels;
- Coordinating advertising campaigns, organising quotes, liaising with media contacts, ensuring budgets and deadlines are kept;
- Responding to online leads and social media messages, and maintaining and updating online industry databases;
- General administration, including new vendor setup, raising purchase orders, and following up on invoices.

Who is Knauf looking for?
To be successful in this position you will be a creative and highly organised individual, with a relevant qualification in marketing.
You will have strong communication skills, work well both in a team or autonomously, and have the ability to liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders, from Knauf staff to suppliers, graphic designers and clients.
Highly organised, you will be able to effectively manage a range of competing tasks and deadlines, with an eye for detail and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities as required.
Experience or an understanding of social media marketing, SEO, or AI will be highly regarded, as will experience with HubSpot software, or the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Premier Pro).
Finally, you will be confident using computers and a range of basis software, including the Microsoft Office suite.
A sense of humour and wearing a smile each day will be highly regarded!
