About the Opportunity

HRAC currently has an opportunity for a motivated Solicitor to join their team in Adelaide.

The day to day responsibilities of the role will include, but not be limited to: 

  • Engaging in the review of ongoing claims, and providing appropriate legal advice;
  • Managing rejected claims;
  • Liaising with tribunals, conference preparation, and;
  • Liaising with medical and other professionals to gather information and establish claims.

HRAC take a highly contemporary and collaborative approach to their work. In this role, you will oversee a team of paralegals who are responsible for looking after much of the administration associated with each claim. Operating in this way allows their solicitors to not only optimise the use of their time and expertise, but also provides an opportunity to develop leadership and management skills. 

About You

To be considered for the role, you must hold a relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor of Laws or equivalent) and have 2-5 years experience in Personal Injuries claims OR Workers' Compensation. 

Exemplary communication skills will also be essential, as many of your duties will require you to interact with tribunals, other solicitors, and high-level professionals. Competence with common communications and office software platforms will also be highly regarded. 

Although there is a leadership component to the role, experience in management or a position of leadership is not essential.
