About the Opportunity
In response to an opportunity in the market, Virtunet are seeking multiple Outbound Sales Representatives to join their team and become the next Virtunet Victors. These are flexible, commission-based roles that will afford the successful applicants the opportunity to work completely from home. Working hours will be open to flexibility depending on individual circumstances, but it is expected that successful applicants will work as close to full-time hours as possible.
Reporting to the Business Development Manager and Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for generating quality sales leads and opportunities through telesales/telemarking to grow Virtunet's portfolio of customers.
More specifically, your day to day duties will include (but will not be limited to):
- Developing a well-rounded knowledge of the products (IT hardware, software licensing and infrastructure including laptops, servers, networking equipment and UCAAS) and processes Virtunet offers by engaging with online learning portals;
- Navigating through online sales channels (i.e. LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to connect and build relationships with relevant business contacts and decision makers (i.e. IT Managers, Sales Managers, HR Managers); and
- Utilising a softphone system to complete daily outbound cold/warm calls in order to find opportunities, sell products and increase the customer base.
Individual targets will be open to flexibility and set on a case by case basis in accordance with an individuals own circumstances and availability.
Importantly, you'll have the ongoing support of an amazing admin team, who will generate quotes and handle the relevant CRM processes so that you have ZERO admin work and the freedom to spend the majority of your time doing what you love.....Connecting With Customers!
Please note: Opportunities for permanent, salaried roles may become available after 3-6 months for Outbound Sales Representatives demonstrating a strong work ethos and achieving consistent results.
What do you need to be a Victor?
To be successful in this role you must be an influential communicator with demonstrated experience in telemarketing/telesales, preferably within IT or a closely related industry and ideally, have an understanding of cloud based communication solutions. You'll be passionate about technology and genuinely keen to go above and beyond for your customers, to understand their needs and find solutions that create mutually beneficial value.
A confident communicator and people person, you will be energised by a cold-calling telesales environment and be confident in your ability to break down doors and build ongoing relationships with customers.
Most importantly, you will be someone who believes in self-empowerment and thrives in an autonomous and commission-based work from home environment and understands the value in hard work and ownership, because while there are flexible working processes, you appreciate the fact the work you put in, is what you will get out.
Please Note: Virtunet is ideally looking for candidates with their own ABN or the ability to obtain one, so that they may be able to directly invoice the company for their sales.
