About the Opportunity
Northside now has a client-facing opportunity for a Service Engagement Administrator to join their team in Canberra on a full-time ongoing basis.
Reporting to the Operations Manager - Aged Care & Inclusion, you will be responsible for ensuring all Aged Care and Inclusion (ACI) clients receive accurate, timely and consistent services and support, with a large focus on rostering.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
- Providing high-level customer service and support for Aged Care & Inclusion clients;
- Managing and overseeing the rostering process, ensuring the staffing team receive accurate information about the requirements of the individual clients they are working with each day;
- Acting as the first point of contact for Northside to assist clients with their enquiries;
- Providing support and supervision for all on-shift staff in the team; and
- Providing a varied range of efficient administrative support.

To be considered for this position you must have demonstrable rostering and customer service experience. Previous experience in the Aged Care or Community Service industry is not essential for this role as Northside is willing to accept applications from candidates from a range of different sectors.
As the most critical duty, your ability to manage an effective and timely rostering schedule, while juggling intersecting priorities, including the coordination of the transport fleet and the reshuffling of staff to cover service gaps, will be paramount to your success.
As the first point of contact for clients, you must be customer-focused, personable and empathetic, and be comfortable establishing effective relationships with a diverse range of people on a consistent basis.
Ideally, Northside is looking for someone who is process and people-driven, has a high level of computer literacy, excellent phone and face-to-face communication skills, and is energised to work in this varied, reception based role.
Please note: You will need to hold or be willing to obtain, a Working with Vulnerable People Card and complete a Police Check and possess a current Australian Driver's Licence.
