About the Organisation

Elite Speech Pathology (ESP) is an independent, family owned and operated practice dedicated to delivering comprehensive Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy services across Western Sydney, the Illawarra region of NSW and Melbourne.

ESP's approach to therapy is highly individualised and client-centred, focusing on the client's unique strengths to maximise their opportunity to communicate successfully and gain more independence in their everyday lives

With a commitment to providing excellent service to all clients, whether at the practice, at their school, or in the home, ESP is proud to be expanding their friendly, supportive team in order to accommodate significant growth across all services and NDIS participants.

About the Opportunities

Due to ongoing growth, ESP now has multiple opportunities for dedicated Speech Pathologists to join their team in Melbourne, Wollongong and Sydney. Ideally, these positions will be offered on a full-time basis, however ESP is also open to discussing part-time arrangements with the successful candidates if this is preferred.

As a Speech Pathologist with ESP you will primarily be responsible for the planning, delivery and evaluation of discipline-specific clinical services across the local area, including school and home visits. More specifically, you will provide diagnostic assessment and management of disorders of communication and swallowing through direct intervention, education, consultancy and advocacy or a combination of these approaches.

To be considered for this role you must be a tertiary qualified Speech Pathologist and hold current registration with Speech Pathology Australia (or be eligible to obtain). Candidates of all experience levels are welcome to apply, from recent graduates to well-established clinical professionals.

Importantly, Elite Speech Pathology is looking for collaborative, engaging professionals who can work autonomously as needed and build trust, rapport and strong relationships with clients, their families and the community.

Please note: Before commencing employment you must hold a current Working With Children's Check, a current National Police Check, and ideally, though not mandatory, a current First Aid Certificate and/or Anaphylaxis training.

Successful candidates will be given an extensive, 10 week training program designed for Speech Pathologists moving into private practice. This is in addition to regular catch ups to share ideas and offer advice, and ongoing mentorship from the experienced team as needed to help you develop your clinical skills, across a wide range of practice areas.
