About the Opportunities

Due to ongoing growth, Elite Occupational Therapy now has multiple opportunities for dedicated Occupational Therapists to join their team in Melbourne, Wollongong and Sydney. Ideally, these positions will be offered on a full-time basis, however part-time arrangements can be discussed with successful candidates if preferred.

This is a mobile, community-based role that will see you working a diverse caseload in the areas of Paediatric and Mental Health Occupational Therapy. You will be responsible for carrying out assessments and services including, but not limited to:

  • Fine and Gross Motor Skills;
  • Self-care/Independent Skills;
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder;
  • Job Readiness and Productivity Skills; and
  • Cognitive Assessments.

About You

To be considered for this role you must be a tertiary qualified Occupational Therapist with current Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration. Candidates of all experience levels are welcome to apply, from recent graduates to well-established clinical professionals.

As you will be working closely with a number of patients and other stakeholders, it is essential that you are able to demonstrate a high level of written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. You will also need to be comfortable with working independently on a day to day basis, though you will be supported by the Senior Occupational Therapist and the wider team of OTs.

Importantly, Elite Occupational Therapy is looking for collaborative, engaging professionals who can build trust, rapport and strong relationships with clients, client families and the community. 

Please note: Before commencing employment you must hold a current Working With Children's Check, a current National Police Check, and ideally, though not mandatory, a current First Aid Certificate and/or Anaphylaxis training. You will also require a current, unrestricted Australian drivers licence with the ability and willingness to drive as the role requires.

In return for your hard work and dedicated, you will receive an attractive, above award rate salary circa $65,000 - $80,000, negotiable based on your skills and experience, with fantastic career progression opportunities into supervisory, leadership and management roles based on your performance.
