About the Opportunity
Due to ongoing demand, WES Components has an opportunity for a Warehouse Packer to join their team in Summer Hill, Sydney on a full-time ongoing basis.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for manually packing orders, ensuring continuous and efficient warehouse operations, and performing a range of additional warehouse duties where required (picking, unloading containers etc.).
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have previous warehousing experience in a similar role. As a highly process driven role, you must be comfortable working in a continuous packing environment, maintaining a consistent work ethic and attention to detail to ensure orders are ready to send on time.
Moreover, you will demonstrate an active commitment to workplace health and safety, and will be responsible for keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and hazard free. You'll also possess a basic level of computer skills, as the role itself will require some data entry (package height, weight etc.).
While not essential, a current Forklift Licence will be seen as highly desirable.
Please Note: Due to the requirements of the role, you'll need to be physically capable of heavy lifting, as this is a purely manual position involving the manual handling of products up to 25kg.
