With a commitment to professional development and employee wellness, they value feedback from employees at every level, and invest the time to ensure their staff have all the tools and knowledge needed to deliver great results.

About the Opportunity

Hynes Legal now has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Lawyer to join their team on a full-time basis, working from home.

Joining the projects/heavy litigation teams, you will be working closely with two associate directors and be exposed to a range of interesting body corporate disputes.

Some of your key areas of focus will include (but will not be limited to) body corporate disputes, litigation work, advice components, court work and QCAT appeal work.

About You

To be successful, you will have completed your Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with strong academic achievement, completed your PLT and hold or be eligible to apply for your Queensland Practicing Certificate.

A genuine self-starter, you'll need to be comfortable working autonomously and take real pride in your work, committed to getting things done right, and able to identify ways to improve or streamline processes. Ideally you will have a strong inclination toward innovation and would enjoy being part of a changing industry.

Well developed interpersonal and communication skills will be key to your success, allowing you to work effectively with both clients and staff, whether at monthly face to face training or working remotely.

You will need strong organisational skills to handle a wide array of digital documents, and be proficient in a range of basic computer software. Previously experience with LawMaster or a similar system will be highly regarded.

About the Benefits

Hynes Legal encourages big thinking and seeks regular feedback from all their staff, plus monthly 1-1s ensuring that everyone, from the directors to their junior staff, have a voice and are listened to. Although working from home, there are plenty of face to face meetings and opportunities to ensure you feel connected and supported. You'll also enjoy a range of employee wellness initiatives as well as company-wide profit share arrangements.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you will be rewarded with an attractive salary circa $55,000 including super.

Working remotely from home, you will be provided with innovative technology solutions and all the tools required to ensure work can be completed effectively and efficiently. A $150 per month working from home allowance is also provided.
