New Horizons is a progressive not-for-profit community based organisation which has been operating since 1981.
The organisation provides services in supported accommodation, supported employment and aged care for over 1,200 people. New Horizons' non-profit commercial packaging service specialises in providing solutions for commercial clients while providing employment for people with a disability.
The organisation's head office is in North Ryde (NSW), however services are provided in the Sydney, Central Coast, Hunter, Mid North Coast, Blue Mountains and Northern Rivers regions. New Horizons is growing rapidly, with approximately 520 employees in NSW.
Due to continued expansion of services, New Horizons has an brand new exciting opportunity for a full time Client Services Coordinator to oversee its professional and dedicated team of Case Managers in the Accommodation Services program.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to manage and coordinate the operational activities of the relevant Support Services staff, in order to provide a comprehensive, effective and efficient service to the accommodation clients of New Horizons Enterprise Ltd in the Newcastle area.
Your role will be interesting and varied, including provision of high level client support and advice, coordination and standardisation of operational system, as well as managing a small group of motivated and dedicated case managers.
To be successful in the Client Services Coordinator role with New Horizons, you will need to have previous case management and service coordination experience, including the ability to coordinate and manage staff and staffing issues. You will also need to have industry relevant tertiary qualifications (ideally in a Behavioural Science or Psychology), demonstrated skills and experience with comprehensive behaviour intervention plan and individual plans and a working knowledge of the Disability Services Standards and National Standards for Mental Health.
The successful candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as be self motivated and have the ability to work autonomously.
A competitive package of $68k - $75k (inclusive of a car allowance) will be offered to the successful candidate as well as a rostered day off each month and the option to access salary packaging. The organisation truly values its employees, and actively encourages training and further study.
