About the Opportunity
If you have great skills and enthusiasm for IT and are passionate about providing outstanding customer service, ABnote has an opportunity for a talented IT Infrastructure Support Officer to join their Ingleburn team.
Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager - NSW, this varied role will be responsible for providing day to day system support to ABnote's staff and infrastructure, with a focus on excellent service.
More specifically, some of the your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Installing and deploying standard operating systems and applications;
- Troubleshooting desktop, server and network errors;
- Providing quality service to staff;
- Ensuring data transmission is completed successfully and in a secure manner;
- Technical support to Internal & External Customers; and
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of a documented, best-practice infrastructure and ongoing provision of a sound production environment.
ABnote is interested in receiving applications from candidates with proficiency in all aspects of system hardware/software, and support experience in a range of networks and environments including: Windows 2000/XP, MS Office 2003/2007, Active Directory, Exchange 2003 & Novell Netware. Applicants with qualifications in Microsoft Certified Professional are preferred.
You will need a basic knowledge of networking, system security and system backups.
Importantly, you will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to work effectively in a team, document your work and communicate technical information to non-technical users. This is a role in which your people skills are just as important as your technical ability!
