About the Opportunities
Corporate Traveller Business Development Manager
Corporate Traveller has a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our trusted brand, servicing the city of Sydney.
The primary purpose of this role is to acquire new travel business across our corporate brands, presenting products and services to prospective clients, whilst highlighting the benefits of booking with Flight Centre Limited.
Essentially, the Business Development Manager will source new business opportunities through face to face appointments, which are generated through cold calling, local store marketing and client networking.
More specifically, the successful candidate will:
- Ensure achievement of new business targets monthly and year to date;
- Work on business development and acquisition by identifying new opportunities;
- Consistently improve on the sales process;
- Ensure the Flight Centre Limited brand and market position is clear and compelling; and
- Attend team and operational meetings.
These roles require individuals with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and grow client networks, effectively turning cold calls into warm leads.
The successful candidates will be personable and quick to form relationships, with the ability to create credibility and trust with clients by listening to their needs and enthusiastically presenting product solutions. While experience in sales will be beneficial in this role, it is not essential. We're looking for high achievers who are ready to excel in the travel industry.
Importantly, you will have excellent business acumen, with high persuasion skills and the hunter mentality that drives you to seek out new leads, close sales, and succeed.
Strong planning and time management skills and professionalism are also essential for these roles. Candidates will have a sound knowledge of the travel market and its associated impacts. Relevant qualifications would be highly regarded.

Retail Business Development Manager
Due to strong continued growth an exciting and ‘unbeatable' opportunity has become available for high achieving sales professional to join our NSW Retail BDM Sales team based out of our North Sydney corporate office. This is your chance to join one Australia's most sought after employers.
As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for gaining new business within the leisure market as well as the SME B2B segment and will play an active part in contributing to our growth strategy and wider business plan.
You will need to be a good relationship builder with the ability to construct a strong pipeline starting with a cold desk; however you have access to a vast database to help you along with an internal training program to assist with your success in the position!
